Mermaid Gin’s star ingredient – rock samphire (also known as mermaid’s kiss) – inspires its name, and other botanicals in this craft gin include elderflower, peppery grains of paradise and lemon zest. Isle of Wight Distillery also makes Mermaid Pink Gin, with island strawberries, and Mermaid Zest Gin, flavoured with grapefruit and bergamot, rosemary and hops. There’s also Mermaid Salt Vodka and a spiced rum, crafted from rums from Trinidad and the Dominican Republic and infused with Isle of Wight honey.

The brand aims to protect the ocean environment it draws inspiration from, supporting marine conservation projects and using plastic-free packaging.
